I have taught in a range of educational settings, giving me a broad understanding of different curricula and student needs. My classroom experience includes teaching at a leading London International Baccalaureate (IB) school and at a high-performing grammar school, where I supported students in achieving strong academic outcomes and preparing for competitive examinations.
Alongside my classroom teaching, I have several years of experience as a private tutor, working with students across the 7+, 11+, GCSE, A Level, and university application stages. I provide personalised, one-to-one tuition in History and English, including comprehension, essay writing, creative writing, and exam technique, tailoring each lesson to suit the individual student’s goals and learning style.
In addition, I worked as a Graduate Adviser at UCAS, supporting students through the higher education application process. This experience has given me valuable insight into university admissions, personal statements, and helping students present themselves confidently when applying to competitive courses and institutions.
